When i ran a 50 watt head tube rectified traynor bassmaster i also had a 2x12 cab loaded with a weber blue alnico and ceramic speaker.

Paired a blue pup and silver ten in my orange rocker 32. The dirty channel is now much tighter and smooth. Ted weber speakers are built with tighter more concentric voice coil gaps and lower carbon machined steel parts in the magnet circuits which yield a stronger more controlled tone at all volumes particularly in the low.

10 30oz ceramic magnet 1 1 4 voice coil ribbed cone. That should give you a bit more headroom before break up. Seems like most players opt for a ceramic silver bell instead of the alnico why is this. Great bass response for a 2 10 combo.

Depending on the wattage your amp is pushing try getting one rated for much higher volume levels. Bright chimey later smooth breakup aggressive articulate. Preference obviously but what are the key differences bet. What a difference they made compared to the orange branded stock 10s.
